Washington University in St. Louis invites applications from outstanding scholars and teachers to join our recently re-established Department of Sociology. We are authorized to fill two tenure-track assistant professor positions. Candidates must have a recent Ph.D. in sociology or finish the Ph.D. by July 1, 2016. Duties include research for scholarly publication, teaching, student advising, and participation in department planning and university service.
